Is Bleaching The Same As Whitening?

Some people may use the terms "bleaching" and "whitening" interchangeably. However, that is not entirely accurate. A product that is bleaching is also whitening, but a whitening product may or may not be a bleaching one. Confused? Let me explain it this way: when the term bleaching is used to describe a product, it means that teeth can can be whitened to a point beyond their natural state. For a product to bleach teeth, it will usually contain hydrogen peroxide.
