Natural Remedies for Tooth Whitening

Do you have teeth with only slight staining? Are you looking for a more natural approach to teeth whitening?

Here are some tried and true natural teeth whitening methods you may want to try.

BAKING SODA
People have been using baking soda to remove stains from their teeth for many years before commercial toothpastes were even invented. It is effective in removing stains from teeth.

Baking soda is also great for keeping breath fresh and dissolving plaque.

Mix 1 tsp baking soda and a few drops of white vinegar, which will foam. Brush your teeth with this mixture. If you don't like using vinegar, you can try this: first brush your teeth normally, then dip your toothbrush in baking powder and brush over them again for 2 minutes.

STRAWBERRIES
The fact that strawberries have gentle cleaning and bleaching properties surprises most people.

Mash 2 ripe strawberries and spread with a soft toothbrush on your teeth (spread with a soft toothbrush so the seeds are not abrasive to your gums). Leave on for 3-5 minutes, then brush them with regular toothpaste (it is very important to rinse them well afterwards) and floss out any seeds in your teeth.

APPLE CIDER VINEGAR
Apple cider vinegar is a common home remedy for many ailments and has been known as an effective way to remove stains from teeth. Either mix it with a little bit of baking soda to make a paste or you can gargle with it. It is safe enough to use daily.
